Jeffrey will again be honored at the BMI Pop Awards this May in Los Angeles for his smash song “What Hurts The Most”

Last Sunday Jeffrey was a guest on Music Business Radio. He talked about how he got his start in the music business, gave advice for upcoming songwriters, and lots more…including the stories behind some of his biggest hits, as well as in studio performances with just Jeffrey on an acoustic guitar and a sneak peak of his new album. Jeffrey received song awards for “Brand New Girlfriend”,”What Hurts The Most”, “My Wish”,” Me and My Gang”, and “Everytime I Hear Your Name”

Jeffrey received the rare”Triple Play Award ” from the CMA for 3 no. 1 songs in one year “Brand New Girlfriend” “My Wish” and “What Hurts the Most.” He was also awarded by NSAI for the same songs including the 9 week A/C no. 1 for What Hurts The Most! Quite a week !!

Also new in the store is an album made up of several musical compositions by Alex! Jeffrey and family found these tunes on his computer and have compiled them along with two of Jeffrey’s tunes “Son” and “Simple Song” – which was one of Alex’s favorite!
