"All my new songs are old songs!"We all know "Love Is a Beautiful Thing" sung by PHIL VASSAR was 13 years old before it became a hit, as were many other songs JS has written.Well, we told you "Simple Song" (written 7 years ago and released on Jeffrey's "Gotta Start Somewhere" CD in 2002) was picked up by MILEY CYRUS for her new 2008 release, "Breakout". But, we also found out two of Jeff's favorites, BOB SEGER and LITTLE FEAT have just released "Something in the Water" as a duet!!!! There's even a rumor of a JS song being recorded by MEATLOAF! Wow, we'll keep you posted!JEFFREY has been working with MILEY CYRUS on music for an upcoming animated film this Holiday Season for Disney. "BOLT" stars MILEY and JOHN TRAVOLTA and will feature music from Jeffrey and Miley who have been writing together in Jeffrey's Nashville Studios!JEFFREY was also seen in L.A. on September 11th with rocker SEBASTIAN BACH of SKID ROW and most recently of "GONE COUNTRY 2" at "The Mint". They were said to be shooting a video with WAYNE ISHAM, Wayne just won VMA video of the year for "PIECE OF ME" by BRITNEY SPEARS!Thanks again to BOB KINGSLEY for asking JS to host the CT40 Countdown! It was a blast to talk and tell stories in the chair of the legend, and to get to spend some time with his fans! Thanks to Ken and Curtis and Jeff and Matt for all the help.
